This is the opening title for the film SE7EN. The white text
on the black background makes it stand out. The fact that they have replaced
the V with the number 7 and given it a shadow effect gives it a mysterious look/feeling.
The red text on the black background makes it look very
vivid, by using this colour there is a sense of danger as red can be associated
with violence. The splattered effect around the text gives the effect of blood.
There is a theme of black backgrounds with bright texts.
The red text on the black background creates the feeling of danger due to the fact that we associate red with death. the tear across the centre on the text gives us the feeling that the film is a slasher and may refers to death in the movie.
The red on this background shows the audience about being trapped and death because of the background looking like a room and with the red text and the colour of the walls represents death. how all of the letters are capitalised makes us think that the whole film is being serious.
